Accessibility

How this website is built to be usable by as many people as possible, and its known limits.

Last updated 16 October 2026

Features

  • A “Skip to content” link is the first item on every page.
  • Navigation, the mobile menu and the enquiry form work with a keyboard, and focus is clearly outlined. The mobile menu closes with Esc and returns focus to its button.
  • Layouts adapt to phones, tablets and desktops without sideways scrolling, and text can be zoomed.
  • Animation follows your device’s “reduce motion” setting: turn it on and the animations stop, showing their finished state.
  • Pages are pre-built HTML, so the content can be read even with JavaScript turned off.
  • Photographs and service illustrations have text descriptions. Purely decorative artwork is hidden from screen readers.
  • Enquiry form fields have visible labels, and required fields are marked.
  • The moving client carousel can be paused by focusing it and pressing Space or Enter. With reduced motion it becomes a still grid.

How this was checked

Automated browser checks on 16 October 2026: every page at desktop width and at phone widths of 390 and 320 pixels, checking for errors, broken images and sideways scrolling, plus reduced-motion behaviour.

This is not a formal audit or certification against WCAG 2.2.

Known limits

  • No formal accessibility audit or screen-reader user testing has been done yet.
  • Some client logos are images of text.
  • There is no on-page switch to stop the animations. They stop when your device’s “reduce motion” setting is on (in Windows, macOS, iOS and Android accessibility settings). The client carousel can also be paused from the keyboard.
